The city of Singapore is very anti smoking. You see these sings on all the
roads.
The subway entrance in Chinatown.
I really wanted one of these but Pilly said no.
Pilly with another one of the 60 Singapore lions on the Singapore waterfront.
Singapore skyline as viewed from our boat ride around the city.
Cool sculpture of kids playing in the river.
They were setting up a huge dragon to line the waterfront for the Chinese
mooncake festival. There were 10 sections this long that were going to be welded
together to form a huge dragon.
There's some really interesting mix of buildings in Singapore.
Here's the river cleaning boat in Singapore. It has a conveyor in front the
pulls all the floating trash up out of the river.
This Koi pond was actually in the middle of a mall.
This was billed as "The Worlds Largest Fountain".
Pilly and her brothers baby daughter. Name "Mable Isabelle Tengau Anuk Timmy"
The mall in Pilly's home town of Kuching.
A typical Malaysian road scene, notice all the motorcycles working their way to
the front of the traffic at the stoplight.
Another road scene notice that the road is only 2 lanes but the cars are 3 wide
plus a motorcycle.
SunTracker Pontoon on the Kuching waterfront.
The palace on the Kuching waterfront.
Old Buddhist temple in Kuching.
Temple where Pilly's Chinese grandmother is interred.
Pilly's dad and the grandbaby. Timothy's wife in the background.
Kuching means "Cat" in Malay so there are many cat statues around the city.
Its the 100% discount store!!!!!! Everything must be go!!
A croc without a tale in rehab. I'm not sure what happened though.
Crocs in the wild river. Not to worry we were protected by a chain link fence.
This monkey was free but wanted in this cage really badly.
Children's world books and toys. Honk if you're horny!!!!!!!!!
The road to Pilly's family at the village of Lundu.
No bridge on the way there so you have to take a ferry.
This is what the pepper that you sprinkle on your food looks like when its
growing.
The beach by Lundu. It has a nice little drink stand and places to sit. NO
people and is very clean.
Pilly enjoying a fresh coconut at the beach.
The family eating out in Langkawi Malaysia. Pilly, her mom, grandmother, and
father. Most of the places you eat in Malaysia are out doors like this with
plastic tables and chairs.
A beautiful ceiling in Malaysia.
